Our Club History:
The Rock Creek FFA was founded in 1991 when Rock Creek
High School consolidated Westmoreland, and St. George High Schools, under the leadership of Advisor Rod Rohn. In 1992,
David Holliday became the new advisor of the chapter. Through the last 16 years, the Rock Creek FFA Chapter has attended
many events, and held a strong connection with the surrounding communities. The agriculture department currently offers 5
classes: Animal Science, Agriculture Mechanics, Intoduction to Agriculture, Horticulture, and Junior High Introduction to
Agriculture. More classes are planned to be offered next year, and our new vocational center is almost
complete with a new shop and greenhouse.
Location:
Rock Creek FFA is located approximately 15 miles
northeast of Manhattan, Kansas in the Northeast District.
Members:
Currently, the chapter has 40 members!
